My 100th Post

It's been a long time coming. The 100th post.

I could write about the weather. It's certainly been blog-worthy.
But I won't say more about it than Saturday was oppressive.

Saturday, I was doing a 5 mile walk for charity. This walk/run was the dream of a young woman with lung cancer who wanted to raise money to support research. She did not live to be part of the race; but over 300 people who knew her, loved her, or like me had just heard of her goal were there to honor her dream and remember her life.

The heat was oppressive, the atmosphere however was invigorating.

She would have turned 37 today...

So I offer this 100th post as a prayer for her husband and 3 year old daughter and a "Happy Birthday, Jodi Lou."
